Super nice compressors, thanks!

I'm a big fan of the Collins 26U, so you had my interest immediately. All three of these are really nice broadcast limiters. I especially love how clear and fast the LA-1B is. These are my first Kazrog emulations, but I have a feeling I'll be back for more. Thanks!

Michael Brauer was right, 'Lush'

If I hadn't started reading about how Michael Brauer treats his vocals, I would probably have never tried these fabulous compressors. I know this is stupid, but the logo Kazrog looks to me like it belongs to some kind of metal outfit and sadly that would have put me off, but I am soooooooo glad I bought these compressors. The P41-A is the one MB says is 'lush' and he is spot on! This has to be the creamiest compressor I have ever heard and putting it on a vocal that needs to sound smooth, velvety and lush is a most wonderous thing, there is no need for further EQ. The LA-1B and 26W are very different. They react differently on the same settings as the P41-A and also sound nothing like the P41-A. The LA-1B adds mids to the source material and sounds great pepping up an electric guitar, making it a bit more present in a mix and bringing out detail. The 26W adds some lovely highs to the source material and sounds good on acoustic guitar and female vocals, but it cannot be called 'lush', it's more insistent, but in an expensive sounding way. My own personal use of compressors is for the rhythmic and tonal properties they can impart on the source material and being able to set the release time is something I appreciate, that's the rhythm. I've not tried these compressors on the master bus to see what they sound like with a mix (I leave my master bus empty of effects), but being broadcast compressors, this is where a lot of people may try them. I'm sure if your mix needs to sound 'lush', (P41-A) or you need a push in the mids (LA-1B) or the highs (26W) the choice within these compressors could be perfect. Truly excellent compressors, thank you Kazrog!

TRES EN UNO

Tres compresores en uno. Contento con la compra, tres compresores con coloraciones diferentes, muy sutiles, pero diferentes. Me gusta como funcionan, son bastante musicales.

MHB Green

Bought the Green after watching the Michael Brauer video, mixing into compression. I have it set up on a separate buss with sends coming from the A_B_C_D groups. This way I can control how much saturation and additional compression I need to get that analog glue effect. I'm still tweaking the settings but overall it sounds great with noticeable saturation effect and with complete control of each individual group.
